University of Missouri Extension will provide a pasture and forage management workshop in Stockton, 6 p.m. Thursday June 18, with pre-registration by Wednesday June 17 at the Cedar County Library, 717 East St., Stockton; MU Extension speakers and topics covered by Pat Miller, MU Extension Regional Agronomy Field Specialist, pasture weed control and improvement, and Patrick Davis, MU Extension Regional Livestock Field Specialist, forage alternatives to extend the cattle grazing season.
